Dr. Shushanik ASMARYAN’s research interests cover the issues of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing Technologies applications for remote observation of the ecological state of environmental compartments, land use planning, land cover monitoring and modeling, and the main factors of land degradation primarily by erosion.
She's interested in Spatial Data Infrastructures – distributed GIS and Earth Observation Data Cube Infrastructures.
