Lina Lelevičiūtė
After graduating from Firefighter School, I got the qualification of a firefighter. I was very keen to be able to do this job, but at the time it was a taboo for women. As I was not allowed to work as a firefighter, I started working as a dispatcher, but the initial desire of being a firefighter didn’t go anywhere. Twelve years later, the dream came true. Now Lina Lelevičiūtė is one of the few women-firefighters in Lithuania who is extinguishing fires every day.
