Not a Woman's Job?

Ms. Kahikopo is an award-winning director from Namibia, and her award-winning debut film titled 'The White Line' has premiered at various international film festivals across the globe and has gone on to win Best newcomer director, best film script, and audience choice at the Namibia Theatre and Film Awards 2019. The film also won the best cinematographer and Best Feature Film at the 7th African Emerging Filmmakers Award 2019 in Durban. Desiree describes the industry she works for as still dominated by her male counterparts but through hard work and dedication, she was able to persevere.
