Not a Woman's Job?

First lieutenant Aliona Bezman is the only woman leader of demining mission teams in the National Army of the Republic of Moldova. Together with her comrades, she destroyed over 2,000 explosive objects, in each mission wearing the EOD equipment which weighs more than 30 kilograms. 1st Lt. Bezman’s team executes missions in the South of the country, neutralizing ammunition dating back to Second World War.
