Not a Woman's Job?

Diarelys Santana Medero is a young biochemist who, since she was a child, dreamed of making a vaccine and today she has important contributions to Cuban science. She was the coordinator of the research team that developed the synthetic vaccine against HIB (Haemophilus Influenzae) and is currently working on the development of “SOBERANA”, one of the Cuban vaccines against COVID19 at the Finlay Institute in Havana, Cuba.
