Silvia Pérez was 'the first journalist to cover football in Uruguay. In the beginning, she had to face criticism: “What does a woman have to do here? She should be washing the dishes”. What she enjoys the most about her job is to tell the players´ life stories so that fans get to know better the human beings behind the ball.
