A Norwegian senior researcher at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Centre, Kathrin Steffen is also a member of the IOC Medical & Scientific team. She monitors and records injuries and illnesses suffered by athletes at the Olympic Games, to understand and help prevent them in the future. Steffen is also involved in several para sports activities and projects in Norway.
