Altaf Matar, a renowned Syrian Paralympian, has excelled in various sports, including track & field, since 2001. Overcoming challenges from right leg amputation, she has thrived in national and regional championships and sports events. Beyond her athletic experience and achievements, she works with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to champion the rights of persons with disabilities in Syria.
