Israa Mubaideen, first Jordanian woman referee, makes history in Jordan by heading the first all-female referee team in her country at a match of the Jordanian Football Professional Men’s League in 2022. The decision to appoint an all-women referee team developed from the efforts of the Jordan Football Association and its president, Prince Ali, to encourage other women to get interested in this mostly male-dominated sport.
