Delphine Jacquet is an engineer-in-charge of the LHC in the CERN Control Centre. She is responsible for ensuring that the accelerators are running as efficiently as possible and that the beam is delivered to the experiments with the characteristics they need. It is also her job to react in the event of machine failure or other problems.
