Dipanwita Banerjee obtained a PhD in particle physics, specifically the search for dark matter, from ETH Zurich in 2017. She joined the CERN Beams department in 2014 during her PhD. She is currently working as a beam physicist, providing secondary beams for various fixed-target experiments. She is also part of the team preparing an experiment to look for hidden particles.
