Melita, a Chemical Engineer holding a PhD, has collaborated with prestigious research groups in Europe and Asia. Presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering at Cyprus University of Technology, she was recently recognised with the "Christiana Kouta" Female Personality Award. Her research focuses on synthesising inorganic (nano)/materials.
