H.E. Ms. Amal Salman Al-Doseri is a pioneering Bahraini leader in child rights and former Vice-Chair of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. The first Bahraini woman elected by the UN General Assembly to a UN treaty body. She led the development of Bahrain's first: Child Law, National Youth Strategy, National Strategy for Children, while advancing UNICEF and UNFPA initiatives supporting children’s protection and participation.
