Elanor Boekholt-O’Sullivan broke gender barriers as the first female three-star general in the Netherlands. Through her inclusive leadership, she advocated for a defence organisation in which women and other underrepresented groups could fully participate, from top-level command positions to the practical equipment used on the work floor. From this groundbreaking position, she now became the Dutch Minister of Housing, where she continues her commitment to inclusion and social change.
