Carolina Vera is a highly motivated researcher who has made significant contributions to climate studies. What distinguishes her is her dedication to address the causes of and possible remedies to anthropogenic climate change. This has not only been through the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change but also through “coproduction", that is, working with those who will actually use her research.
