Aya Cissoko
Aya Cissoko started boxing at 8 years old. A series of family tragedies during her childhood developed in her a perseverance in the sport practice, and the will to make her journey an inspiration for all. After being three-time world champion, she had to retire from boxing because of an injury. She became a writer, committed to combating racism and discrimination.

Aya Cissoko: “Boxing is considered a « man’s » sport. I am a little girl who arrived in a sport where there are very few women. I had to learn quickly to assert myself and take my place.”
