Ms. Milica Mandić
Taekwondo practitioner Milica Mandić won the first Olympic gold medal since Serbia has been competing under its own name. Milica Mandić achieved that accomplishment at the Games in London in 2012. Milica's success motivated a large number of girls throughout Serbia to start training taekwondo. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021, she repeated her success from London, and once again became an Olympic winner. Thanks to these successes, Milica Mandić became the first Serbian woman to win two Olympic gold medals.
