Helen Marxer-Bulloni (right), co-founder of several women’s organizations and of the Free List party and a pioneering force for gender equality in Liechtenstein, receives the Equality Award in 2001 from Equality Minister Dr. Andrea Willi for the “Young Women Entrepreneurs” project. Through decades of civic courage and relentless commitment, she has advanced women’s roles in public life, including her influential part in the 1997 constitutional action that helped to achieve equal rights regarding access to citizenship.
