Helen McEntee
Helen McEntee was appointed as Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade and Defence in November 2025, becoming Ireland’s first female Minister to serve in either role. Pictured above, Minister McEntee addresses attendees at a youth forum in Iveagh House in January 2026, held to empower young people to influence policy making. The Minister said “When we create space for young people to shape the agenda, our politics and our cooperation are stronger for it.”
