Karolina Pelendritou is a Cypriot visually impaired swimmer. She has won gold medals and broken records in world and international games as well as winning three gold medals, a silver and two bronze over five Paralympic Games. She served as Ambassador of Cyprus for the “Stop Discrimination” movement at the European Union and she is a role-model for promoting gender equality and athletes’ rights.
