Ambassador Nicola Clase is Sweden’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations. A distinguished diplomatic leader advancing multilateralism and gender equality, she has served as President of the UN Women Executive Board and was appointed Sweden’s Ambassador to the United States in 2026. Her service includes roles as Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Finland, and has been recognised with the King’s Medal in gold (2025) and the Grand Cross of the Order of the Lion of Finland.
