Sanna Marin (born 1985) is a political figure who served as Prime Minister of Finland from 2019 to 2023. Assuming office at the age of 34, she became the youngest prime minister in Finland’s history and drew international attention as a leading voice of a new generation of progressive leadership. As Prime Minister she had a central role in the nation’s decision to join NATO in 2022.
